The Roots of the Counsouling Corner
It was the book Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottlieb that first planted the seed about becoming a therapist. I remember it so clearly—it was a crisp October morning, on a train from London to Norwich, and I was completely lost in this big, yellow book. What really stuck with me was the vulnerability displayed in the author’s client’s, and how she wove her own imperfect, human story into the narrative. It was eye-opening to see the parallels between the lives of the clients and the therapist, realizing that none of them had it all figured out. And honestly, isn’t that what makes us all beautifully complex and uniquely human?
It took a few more years for that seed to grow its roots, but eventually, I left my corporate job in London and started my therapeutic training. Fast forward four years, and here I am—a fully qualified therapist.

So, hi! That’s a tiny bit about how I got here. Here, being the Counsouling Corner where I run online sessions with a diverse range of clients.
In a session with me, we work through things together, side by side, at your own pace. There’s no rush, no dismissal—just a space for you to better understand yourself and take the steps toward healing, on your own terms. Every person’s journey is unique, and I’m here to walk alongside you as you rediscover your path to personal growth. In our sessions, strength is about allowing yourself to be vulnerable; your voice is valued, and your story will be met with warmth and compassion.
Finding the right therapist can be a daunting task. I recommend reaching out to a range of therapists and arranging free consultations with them. This will help you to figure out who you can see yourself opening up to. I hope I am one of those you chose to reach out to and if so, I look forward to meeting.
